JAMES OAKLAND GOUL

James Oakland Goul was born in December 1855 in Indiana to Malissa Goul and James M. Goul. He is listed on two Census records of Fall Creek Township, Madison County, Indiana in 1870. The two census records were taken on separate dates which would account for James being in two places for one census. The first one was taken in June 1870 and shows he is was at a farm owned by James Sharp while the second places him in the home of his mother, Malissa Goul. A marriage record was found for him and Eliza Jones but according to his obituary, there were no known close relatives. Okie died on October 29, 1935 in Anderson, Madison County, Indiana and was buried two days later in the same cemetery as his mother in Pendleton.
